Solid seaside horror HOPA
This is another very solid game by Alawar’s Friday Games, a dev team that had a very brief but very impressive output in the HOPA scene. This is their only horror game, and it’s a gorgeous one at that.

This is another very solid game by Alawar’s Friday Games, a dev team that had a very brief but very impressive output in the HOPA scene. This is their only horror game, and it’s a gorgeous one at that.
It’s an extremely similar setting as Small Town Terrors: Pilgrim’s Hook - an abandoned foggy lake house with a mysterious past. You go around as usual in the genre, pointing, clicking, solving puzzles and piecing together the story.
I do prefer Pilgrim’s Hook- it’s a larger and much more unique (and fun) game. But as one of the only games made by this team (alongside the incredible Stray Souls games), I wanted to shout it out.
