Playing this game immediately after Asylum resulted in the sameness getting a little grating towards the end. The combat system is still fluid and fun but, at times, can be overwhelmed. When fighting large gangs of thugs that are armed in various ways it can often be impossible to have the correct combat response, someone'll get you! But, that's not terribly bad and honestly the groups big enough for that only happen a handful of times.

It's fun to explore the prison/city, to do a bit of murder investigation side plots, and the main plot line is fun and ridiculous, but I wasn't too keen on the Catwoman bits. Harley Quinn's Revenge was a little lackluster too, in my opinion. This marks two games in a row where the big final boss is just "lots of dudes" instead of a cool, well crafted boss fight like Mr. Freeze or the big electric dude.

That said, I think it's still an improvement over Asylum and I'll be putting Batman down for a bit before moving on to Arkham Knight!

Uhg. Played Harley Quinn's revenge and it's awful. Repetitive and boring and brings nothing new to the table.

Got Batman: Arkham Knight so I decided to get back to AC and finish it... after almost EIGHT YEARS since last time I played it!!! Ended up finishing the game by accident as I couldn’t 10% of what I had done, and the percentage completion fooled me (I thought it was main story, not the whole game), so now I …

Ended up finishing the game by accident as I couldn’t 10% of what I had done, and the percentage completion fooled me (I thought it was main story, not the whole game), so now I left several side missions incomplete and Riddler’s trophies to find... I don’t think I’ll be playing again. Who knows in another 8 years lol.

Haciendo misiones secundarias antes de enfrentar cara a cara a Mr. Freeze, jamas me aburriré de este juego cada mes llama mas a la intriga y al explorar cada rincón de la infernal Arkham.

Excellent

Arkham City took everything great about Arkham Asylum and built upon it. The open world of the city was a great addition to the more linear, "Metroidvania" layout of Asylum and, for the most part, was quite easy to travel. The game featured a star-studded lineup of villains--much better than Asylum, and the boss battles were way better as well. …

The game featured a star-studded lineup of villains--much better than Asylum, and the boss battles were way better as well. Mr. Freeze was a particularly satisfying boss fight. Great fighting mechanics, especially when sneaking around and taking out bad guys one at a time. That's my preferred way to take out big groups. I put this game at #20 of my favourite games of all time.

Finished Batman: Arkham City and hated it, especially the ending. The previous game was much more fluid.

The best in the Arkham franchise, Arkham City improves upon its predecessor in many ways. Great gameplay and voice acting (especially from Kevin Conroy's Batman and Mark Hamill's Joker). Also one of the best superhero games I've ever played.

Continues the epic struggle between Batman and Joker for Gotham City, introducing some more of the caped crusader's Rogues gallery. The sandbox opens up and is easily two, maybe three times larger than Arkham Asylum. It's a comic fan's video game dream come true.

Batman: Arkham City is the second installment of the Batman franchise made by Rocksteady. It is a third-person action adventure with an open world setting.

Catwoman ;)

Open world aspect is annoying because you have to return to some points of the city too many times

Arkham City is generic and just filled with henchmen and riddler puzzles

400 (!) Riddler trophies are just too many

God dammit! I hate Talia al Ghul so freaking much! If only you had more freedom in this game, I'd totally let half of these characters I don't give two fucks about die a horrible death. Preferably in agonizing pain. Something with fire.

Its easy to be scared when its this Dark at Night!
You can't call yourself a true batman fanboy/girl if you don't complete every tedious riddler quest, the Augmented Reality Fly bys, and all the challenges.
Batman has to go in some very claustrophobic, shitty places, which I could never do in reality so I can't be the Batman.
