New vehicles like the ATV and a transport helicopter allow for all-new multiplayer tactics on the Battlefield. With the Frostbite-enabled Destruction 2.0 system, you can take down entire buildings and create your own fire points by blasting holes through cover. You can also compete in four-player teams in two squad-only game modes, fighting together to unlock exclusive awards and achievements. Battles are set across expansive maps, each with a different tactical focus. The game also sees the return of the B Company squad in a more mature single-player campaign. Read less

小时候玩的,就记得这游戏世界和纸糊做的似的,屋子打几枪就全垮了... Due to Grouvee's incompatibility with scriptio continua, I need to add this sentence to prove that this is not nonsense.

Are gamers getting better or sweatier?

Are gamers getting better or sweatier?

So I've been playing 2042 recently, and whilst I've been playing I can't help but notice how competitive a lot of the players are - I'm often getting killed even when the enemy have their back to me lol.

I'm not trying to shame anyone who plays competitively, this is purely a personal opinion / gripe of mine. I just feel like most of the time I play online games now I'm getting killed by someone who's trying to solo a whole objective or running circles around you as if their sensitivity is on max.

I really miss the bad company 2 days where I fee like you'd be running down Arica Harbour and just have an exchange down the street. Now everyone knows the shortcuts, they know where to bunny hop, the perfect time to slide etc. I feel like it's gotten a lot more complicated? Or perhaps I'm looking back at bc2 with rose tinted glasses?

Regardless, what does this mean for the future of battlefield and other games for that matter? Will they become increasingly competitive? Will the skill ceiling keep increasing? Would it be nice to try and have chilled / casual servers only in some games? Or am I imagining and over exaggerating all of this? Is there no issue here? Is my aim just getting worse and I'm getting older...

Started up the campaign mode on this one. I heard of BF: Bad Company when I saw the funny trailers. (even made my fan trailer of Dynasty Warriors based on that years ago)

I only wished the first game wasn't exclusive to the consoles but I suppose the sequel will do for now.

This game is so frustrating. Why on earth is there only one single save slot available (and an autosave to boot)? This is a PC game! Normally, I like to replay earlier sections of the campaign when I get stuck, so that I don't have to repeat the same sequence over and over again. No chance of that here.
