I rarely touch my PS Vita, but I played this on it the last couple of days. I finished all the levels and am now just cleaning up some collectibles for the platinum. It was pretty fun. I didn’t really get what was happening most of the time - I haven’t watched any Lego movies and this is my first Lego game, but the gameplay and puzzles were enjoyable enough. The game crashes a lot. Overall I’d say the game is just “good”.

lego movie videogame review

i remember getting this game as a kid because i was OBSESSED with the lego movie, but this game definitely didnt live up to the cinematic masterpiece. I remember this game being really hard and frustrating, and the mechanics were funky. overall, not my fav lego game

The Game seem alright It feels rather short to 100% complete it, when you consider other LEGO games. It follows the Story of the actual movie and even uses clips of the original film as cut scenes between the levels. But i must say, i don't think the game catches the spirit of the movie properly. The game feels clunkier and slower than other LEGO games, because they tried to imitate the stop-motion-like movement of the film. It's short fun. I can recommend it to fans of the LEGO games, especially to people, who are also fans of the movie.

There was a LEGO Movie, so they had to make a video game for it, so they can make just more money. And they had to did it the cheapest way possible. The game feels just unnecessary. The main menu itself reminds me of free games added to cereals. Maybe the kids will like it but this movie deserved just a better game. Of course, they included original movie fragments and voice cast, but I don't know if they used it well. Honestly, this is by far the worst LEGO game I played.

it was okay. lego games are mostly all the same mechanics, but theres something fun about the other lego games when they take more serious movies and make them super goofy. but since this is based off of a movie thats already a comedy, its just kind of the same thing. just watch the movie
