After finishing chapter 2, I am still enjoying it but there a few faults. Mainly the amount of (optional) fetch quests and I got fairly tired of fighting drowners at the swamp. I also have some issues with conversations, while you can choose the first line of dialogue, Geralt often goes on to say something very different than I expected. …
After finishing chapter 2, I am still enjoying it but there a few faults. Mainly the amount of (optional) fetch quests and I got fairly tired of fighting drowners at the swamp. I also have some issues with conversations, while you can choose the first line of dialogue, Geralt often goes on to say something very different than I expected.
Finally I really don't like Triss and it annoys me that the game assumes you have romantic feelings for her. If game designers want the main character to be romantically involved with someone and don't give the player a choice, then don't start them with amnesia and give them no reason to like or trust that person.
That sounds like a lot of faults but they are all minor and I am still really enjoying the game. The overall story is excellent and the characters are great.
