Amazing Story at launch | Amazing even now
This review is for the PlayStation 4 version

Rating is a strong 5/5

I played this on launch, didnt even know what games were back then but found it through Lets players on youtube(which mostly died down now sadly) and i loved it. Now replaying this when I forgotten everything it was even BETTER. I liked the concept of time rewind and the limits of if you change something it causes a chain reaction. I wont say more since it is better to experience yourself. I would still recommend this to everyone to experience at least once, it is this good. I am excited to play through before the storm and other life is strange games now!

Spoiler Alert: It´s okay
This review is for the PC (Microsoft Windows) version

So, the game is actually quite fun, but I find it lacking a bit in logic. Whenever Max saved Chloe's life, it always ended up causing the storm, but when Jefferson gets arrested at the end, suddenly there’s no butterfly effect? Or did Nathan feel guilty after Chloe’s death and spill everything? That’s not really explained. I also think the contrast at the end of the game with the flashlights is way too stark. It’s mostly a calm game, and then in the last part, it suddenly gets stressful and hectic, which isn’t that cool. I’m curious to see what the second part will bring. I can recommend the game, but not for the price—it’s pretty overpriced for an interactive movie.

runally's review of Life is Strange Remastered Collection
This review is for the PlayStation 5 version

Life is Strange wasn't something I loved at first. I'd played it before and didn't quite finish.

But many years later, the game finally clicked with me. I still didn't like some plot points, particularly The Dark Room, and I disliked the fact that they had to take Chloe out of this entire sequence, both her involvement and her agency. However, Life is Strange + Before the Storm had my heart in the end by making me adore Chloe as a character. She was a very flawed individual, but she was layered and felt real. I loved her awkwardness too.

Each game was a 4 star, but together as a whole story I'd rate it five stars. It became a series that I wished was longer because I wanted to stay with the characters.

A Journey Through Choices and Emotions
This review is for the PC (Microsoft Windows) version

Life is Strange – AnalysisRating: 9.5/10

Life is Strange is simply wonderful! I've always had a positive view of the game, and playing it confirmed all of my expectations.

Gameplay and Mechanics

The time-rewinding mechanic is undoubtedly one of the best parts of the game. It's incredible to be able to correct choices or explore different possibilities without losing the emotional impact of the story. Even so, I made sure not to "overuse" this feature in order to keep the weight of each decision intact.

Narrative and Choices

The game places you in challenging situations, leaving you with that lingering doubt about whether you made the "right" choice. I truly enjoy when my decisions have a real impact on the story, and Life is Strange delivers this impeccably.

I haven't seen the other ending, but for me, this was the choice that made the most sense.

Conclusion

I recommend Life is Strange without hesitation. It is one of my favorite games, especially for its consequential choices and innovative mechanics. If you enjoy deep and moving stories, this game is for you!
