Just a regular Telltale game

It's just a regular Telltale game with two endings. How else did you expect there to be so many Telltale games. Minimal story changes and nothing interesting going for it.

Lesbianas bizarras

Está bien, aunque tiene serios problemas de ritmo y en sí la historia no deja de ser bastante naif, pero tiene buen gusto y suficiente misterio para que sea ameno y quieras seguir hasta el final.

Oh my god WHY?!?!

Mediocre story that makes every white boy cry and shill for in the Steam sales. And the dialogue is SO BAD!

BE CAREFUL MESSING WITH TIME

Around episode 3 everything gets really entertaining and interesting so afterwards my progression was fast. Pros: amazing soundtrack for indie music lovers, good and interesting idea for a plot, nice choices and conversations. Discovering where to take photos is very satisfying. <3 Chloe. Cons: Max is a little slow sometimes. Some things take too much time if you need to rewind over and over again to get the proper decision. I will play it again to make other decisions for sure! The nightmare was a real pain in the ass, OMG! It was frustating but really satisfying completing it. It made me feel awful to be in Max pants for a moment... I decided to save Arcadia Bay, super curious to see what happens with Chloe and Max if I take the other option.

Very Good

Don't let the first couple of chapters turn you away with the teen drama, this a good dark mature time traveling game. I had the same blown away feel after completing this game as I did with the Walking dead season 1 game.

Finally had time to finish episode 1. Enjoyed it, want to replay some scenes as I missed a lot in the beginning but otherwise was nice to play. Very excited about the ending and hoping to get rest of the episodes (for christmas, maybe)!

Oh, what a game... Just finished it. So much bonding with the characters and the story. The music also fit perfectly each time. No doubt it will stay for a long time in my mind and heart. Anyone else who loved it?

Being in the middle of Episode 3, i really like the story and the feelings you get each time you have to take your decisions. I believe i won't be dissapointed in the process.

I had the same problems that I always have with this style of game (dull gameplay and a lack of real consequences for your choices), but it was still engrossing and I liked the characters a lot. DONTNOD are a developer with a bright future and I can't wait to see what they do next. SPOILER: I decided to go for the selfish ending that the game clearly didn't want me to choose because I hadn't just spent the last 15 hours playing this just to watch my best friend die.

I liked the setting, and playing with the manipulation of time, but the limits set to the last by the game are encountered very quickly and seem completely arbitrary. Why can't I save a guy from a something? because! Why does time manipulation cause (spoilers) dead birds and beached whales? because!

Innovative gameplay & content

Overall, I really enjoyed Life is Strange. The choices/consequences mechanic felt real and impactful in a way I haven't experienced in other games. The characters and subject matter pushed against conventions in meaningful ways. I read somewhere that only Square-Enix was willing to publish this with the two female protagonists and it simply wouldn't have been the same game otherwise. …

Like many others, I found the ending didn't live up to the rest of the experience but I still enjoyed the game for what it is in spite of that.

Finished episode 4 and into 5. This got very dark but also more interesting and compelling, leading me to reevaluate some of my earlier concerns with the game content. We'll see how it wraps up.

Currently in the second episode. I really enjoy the choices/consequences aspect of this game. It gets me every time I see that butterfly in the corner (it no longer shows the "This action will have consequences" text but the effect seems even stronger now).

Some of the dialogue can be a bit cliche, but overall as far as point and click choice-based games go, it's one of the better ones. The time-control mechanic is super cool, and I love that you can see where both choices will take you before you stick with one. Here's hoping that the plot doesn't end with something contrived like "global warming is bad!" The game feels pretty unique and I'd love to see a unique ending go with it.
