Just a regular Telltale game
It's just a regular Telltale game with two endings. How else did you expect there to be so many Telltale games. Minimal story changes and nothing interesting going for it.

Está bien, aunque tiene serios problemas de ritmo y en sí la historia no deja de ser bastante naif, pero tiene buen gusto y suficiente misterio para que sea ameno y quieras seguir hasta el final.

Mediocre story that makes every white boy cry and shill for in the Steam sales. And the dialogue is SO BAD!

Around episode 3 everything gets really entertaining and interesting so afterwards my progression was fast.
Pros: amazing soundtrack for indie music lovers, good and interesting idea for a plot, nice choices and conversations. Discovering where to take photos is very satisfying. <3 Chloe.
Cons: Max is a little slow sometimes. Some things take too much time if you need to rewind over and over again to get the proper decision.
I will play it again to make other decisions for sure!

I had the same problems that I always have with this style of game (dull gameplay and a lack of real consequences for your choices), but it was still engrossing and I liked the characters a lot. DONTNOD are a developer with a bright future and I can't wait to see what they do next. SPOILER: I decided to go for the selfish ending that the game clearly didn't want me to choose because I hadn't just spent the last 15 hours playing this just to watch my best friend die.

I liked the setting, and playing with the manipulation of time, but the limits set to the last by the game are encountered very quickly and seem completely arbitrary. Why can't I save a guy from a something? because! Why does time manipulation cause (spoilers) dead birds and beached whales? because!

The dialog is nice in both writing and execution, but world interaction is pretty limited. Still, I'm glad I played this.

Overall, I really enjoyed Life is Strange. The choices/consequences mechanic felt real and impactful in a way I haven't experienced in other games. The characters and subject matter pushed against conventions in meaningful ways. I read somewhere that only Square-Enix was willing to publish this with the two female protagonists and it simply wouldn't have been the same game otherwise. …

Like many others, I found the ending didn't live up to the rest of the experience but I still enjoyed the game for what it is in spite of that.

Got Life is Strange Episode 1 since it's free now. Added to my ever-growing backlog of Steam games.

Life is Strange is so close to being something I would recommend unreservedly. The story, characters, and gameplay all have so much potential, but the script is so laughably bad that it almost seems like a parody of corny teen dramas. Sadly it's not. It's just a corny teen drama.

Some of the dialogue can be a bit cliche, but overall as far as point and click choice-based games go, it's one of the better ones.
