Crooked Boat
This review is for the Nintendo Switch version

The murder mysteries fan in me is really, REALLY happy with this game. I love this kind of stories, from the Agata Christie's classics to modern nordic literature, and always thought that being an smart criminal could be just as intriguing as being the cool detective.

I'm talking fiction, obviously

This is a run based simple game (run based doesn't mean 'roguelike', let's be clear). You can finish a run in 15-30 minutes and you should make every second count to learn the other passengers secrets and ways you can hide the evidence or put the blame on someone else.

There are several fun storylines in the boat and even if you fail and get thrown to jail, you can have a lot of fun discovering everything. Its a perfect game for Switch, but I think you can get it cheaper on Steam and iOS (at least in Colombia it is)

A short, lovely, adventure, with the usual quality, personality and good writing we expect from Inkle Studios, that you can play and replay a hundred times to find out every possible variation it has to offer. I guess you could call it a roguelite graphic adventure

Limited options
This review is for the PC (Microsoft Windows) version

I really like the concept of this game, but the options are quite limited. There seems to only be one person you can actually blame the murder on and I keep finding myself trying to do things that just aren't possible. The game play that is available is fun, but is pretty limited.

Quite fun, but very basic. A quick game that maybe wasn't the best purchase decision by me as I'm not one to replay games in order to get different endings. If you are that kind of person, I imagine this game would be much more fun for you.

I never would have expected a narrative-based game like this to have the same pacing as an action-packed roguelike. I love all the story choices and secrets in this game, the replay value is incredibly high!!

This has the pacing of some of my favorite roguelikes, each game lasts only ten to fifteen minutes. I love the characters, love the setting, and at this point I'm willing to get as messy with the drama as possible to get away with cold-blooded murder XD
