I really wanted to like this, but after 13 hours I have to realize it is not for me. I don't think it is a bad game, but it is too perma-deathy and too tactical for my taste. Too often you have to make decisions with not much info to go on and too often things go wrong. You can't get better on a map because of the procedural generation of the maps, so you try again and fail and fail and fail. The tiniest mistake on your side and not much you can do to come back from it. The few abilities you have that could help are on huge cooldowns, but the alarm levels rise faster and faster. I made it to level 6 missions but now I feel my agents are no match to the enemies and my AI is constantly out of power (on easy, no idea how harder difficulties are even playable) and I have two objectives I need to fullfill. I only can get through a level if the level is by RNG extra small and everything is close together, I choose the best doors by sheer luck and still I barely make it out alive all items used, every ability on cooldown.
The voice acting is great, the art style and the setting made me stay for so long and try over and over again. It makes me sad to put this on the "not for me" shelf, but that's how it is. I am not giving it a rating because I feel it would be unfair, having stopped playing early.
