I used to play this all the time as a kid. I'm sure I beat it back then but I couldn't remember so I beat it again just now on easy. It took me 3 tries.

Beat on normal difficultly. This was a great game and probably the best beat em up I have played (I like King of Dragons more but it is more of an RPG hybrid). I really enjoyed the core gameplay of stunning with the boomerang before punching and saving aerial attacks for multiple opponents. Blocking was also an excellent feature.

I liked the variety of enemies, tactics required, hazards and both types of shooter game play that mix up the brawling. The little bit of platforming with the grappling hook took a while to figure out. Even on normal this game was hard. Regular enemies were a good challenge but bosses were very hard, mainly because they hit so hard. Even with save states I lost several lives and felt I just had to suck it up and take the hits to win. Started with 7 lives, gained a few while playing and finished with 5.

Plays like your Average beat em up. play as batman beating bad guys and going through locations from the Movie. (Boss fights kind of sucked though!)
