Couple of hours in and this is repetitive... Does it ever get any better? Just saving a citizen or eavesdropping on a conversation, getting to two beacons to survey the area, then running up and killing someone. Rinse and repeat. Kinda dull...

Gave a try, gave up quite quickly. Too repetetive. Don't find it difficult, but boring. Story seems to be good, but I will rather try to find recap in the youtube and try the second part of the game with the hopes it will be more interesting.

The way the story is told captured my attention and got me hooked into the series.

Gameplay itself gets a bit repetitive and boring.

By the latter half of the game, the gaming aspect is a chore to complete to see what happens to Altair.

And here we are, already done with AC1. I stuck with main story & side missions only, not going to bother searching for all those flags and stuff. It was a short, but great ride! Can absolutely still recommend - not a marvel of gaming history, but certainly the ground work for one of the largest franchises of our time. …

For that, it is worth your 15 hours to take in the story.

Since my gaming rig (from 2014) has some issues with Splinter Cell: Conviction, I'm switching over to something else until I upgrade my machine - a play-through of the Assassin's Creed series. :) Have played several of the games before, but years ago, so it will be somewhat of a (re-)new(-ed) experience. Started with the first part today, and already enjoying it a lot. Works great on Windows 10, and actually looks quite fair on 4K resolution. Not sure if I'll go for main story only or 100% completion, will decide that later.

Seems like a very ambitiously designed game but unfortunately the experience is very rough. I quit after the second mission and now will move on to the next game. I hope it's a big improvement.

very cool game, great plot with great characters The quests are a little boring because you do the same thing over and over and over but overhaul is a epic game!
