Sonic Adventure is a 3D platformer video game in the Sonic the Hedgehog series. The player can control six characters from the Sonic universe, each with their own gameplay and point of view of the story. The game is divided up into two types of levels: Action Stages and Adventure Fields. The division of Action Stages and Adventure Fields are a serious departure from all previous Sonic games. Adventure Fields are non-linear game stages that contain very few items, generally designed for puzzle solving, exploration and plot advancement. Action Stages are more speed based and have Rings scattered in them. Sonic Adventure was the top-selling Dreamcast game and received a sequel in 2001, marking the 10th anniversary of the Sonic the Hedgehog series.

This one seems at least somewhat fun to play, but I stopped quickly because the camera (and to an extent the level design itself) was jerking me around in a way that after a few runs of the first level was a bit sickening. I check back in with the Sonic series every few years because I find it sort of appealing, but I don't usually really like actually playing it that much. (Sonic Mania or Generations were the closest to me actually being into it.) I think I'd want to try the Genesis ones again probably rather than trying with an early 3D platformer.

An hour and a half in... holy heck is this game a mess. The camera is awful, the controls are pain, the levels are confusing and nonsensical... no point of this game so far can even be remotely called "enjoyable".

It's been awhile since the last time I enjoyed a Game with lengthy content. It kept me busy for a week and it's still fresh and going. while I'm trying not to play the game solely alone to not get burnt out, the game offers good chunk of Diversity to keep it away from being stale or burning out.

Seriously, I didn't finish the game and Yet it's the best game I've played in a long while. This is good stuff.

This game is pretty fun sonce ive been itching to play a good ol 3d platformer but man does it show its age. Besides the hilariously bad syncing in the cutscenes, the control can be pretty wonky

Sonic's jump to 3D (forget Sonic 3D Blast) may have mixed results, but I personally love the heck out of this game and like going back to it occasionally. One of my favorite soundtracks as well.
