The story was fun but the choices felt annoying to me as it all culminates to one particular point where the path actually matters. I rate 3 stars purely for the fact that I bought this and the 2019 modern warfare and it's been hell trying to get everything set up ready to go on the series x between confusing download processes and a super annoying login trying to remember an Activision account from God knows how long ago.

I don't really understand exactly how the campaign works, but the few missions I played were fun. COD plays itself very well in 60fps and and it looks very good, too. My favorite moment was roaming through a street in Berlin at night, that looked and felt pretty epic. They definitely got the atmosphere right. But that and the gameplay …
I don't really understand exactly how the campaign works, but the few missions I played were fun. COD plays itself very well in 60fps and and it looks very good, too. My favorite moment was roaming through a street in Berlin at night, that looked and felt pretty epic. They definitely got the atmosphere right. But that and the gameplay is about it; the story is a big confusing mess, I didn't even really understand how to play through it, what the main and side missions were, but whatever. It's short fun.
What I looked at more was the multiplayer mode; some maps are alright, and I appreciate I still get to use an RPD with thermal vision and smoke bombs like I did in MW2, but it simply can't compare, despite the 60fps and good graphics.

The last Black Ops was the CoD I had played the most since MW2, and this one seems just as fun or better than that one. I really like the maps, it's hard to just pick a couple to highlight because they're all pretty great. Heard good things about the campaign changing it up from past entries, so I'll probably be jumping into that soon, but for now I don't want to play much else but this multiplayer.
