Apparently rhythm games are almost impossible to play emulated because sound gets out of sync due not only of the emulator limitations but also the lack of CTR monitor!
Bummer. Luckily part 2 is on pc natively.

In order to break the Morolian's hypnotic grasp, Ulala must mimic the aliens' exact dance moves by keeping the beat with pauses timed to perfection.
