Much lighter than the first iteration, but similar in gameplay and concepts. It was a bit of a bummer to only have two weapons but that just meant I had to focus more on gadgets and other methods of play. There were a few annoying parts where I felt like I was not equipped to play the way I wanted to, not knowing ahead of time what the mission would be, but it never held me back. Still a fun, if imperfect, game.

Weaker main story but better at almost everything else than the first game.
Better graphics.
Better gameplay. (but kinda hard for me to get used to)
Better side missions.
Character wise, i really liked Aiden as a main but Marcus is fine too. Younger, energetic etc.
Overall, i enjoyed it much. I really bored, died, failed during the first 10 …

I realize I've been using these status updates as preludes to reviews I may or may not eventually write
this is probably the best game to come out of Ubisoft in years
characters are charming & interesting
the bay area is lovingly rendered
gameplay is fun - all of your hacking tools are great fun
the story is pretty bad …

the story is pretty bad but honestly the rest of the game was good enough that I mostly ignored the weird parts

Just a few hours in on Watch Dogs 2 and I can say they've totally leveled-up the experience as compared with the first one. Loving the plot and the characters so far. I'm playing in "Realistic" difficulty, but somehow I still find the missions easy to beat. Can't say I'm so much good because the missions are really relatively easy …

I'm going to have to find out as I go deep in the game. It has some great online service as well, enjoyable co-op operations I must say.

Love that you can travel by sailboat using only the wind in the sails and that you actually have to zig-zag when going against the wind
