Finished playing through this with my GF. Her first time, and my 5th time replaying it. But nevertheless, that ending never fails in making me tear up, no matter how many times I replay it.

Masterpiece of a game.

Interesting concept, but the gameplay can feel repetitive, and the story drags on. It makes you feel the weight of every decision—even if you wish they weren't so predictable.

This game is pretty intense and I'm sitting here thinking why do these games get under my skin and it's not just because I hate zombies. I think a lot of it has to do with crap like that could happen for real 😬I remember seeing this one movie called Eden's lake it's a horror movie where kids hunted and …

As much as I love the wolf among us and telltale's Batman. (Sucks they went under) I just avoided this series and the tv show. I genuinely just hate the concept of zombie anything. I remember when The walking dead came out. My pops who hate all horror loves/loved it. I never cared and have never seen a episode. I love horror. My mom loves horror. But I just hate zombies no matter how they are portrait. But I figure hell I got all of them for free so why not?

I played through the first episode of this and I want to thank everyone who suggested I should play this.

I was reluctant a bit, because usually I get really stressed out with QTEs, but here they are well made and leave me enough time to get them right the first time. I died once, not through a QTE, but …

I was reluctant a bit, because usually I get really stressed out with QTEs, but here they are well made and leave me enough time to get them right the first time. I died once, not through a QTE, but because I didn't realize I needed to walk away from a zombie that was less dead than I thought it was.

I doubt I would survive the zombie apocalypse for long. Looking forward to play more of this.

The options really toy with your emotions which is a must for Telltale Games (as they dont exactly have anything else) and the choices really do play a factor in the ending. Though, it isn't so annoying that to get every ending you must replay the game 10+ times, maybe twice.

I didn't remember much of Episode 4, but it was weird. Felt like it lacked the focus of previous episodes and there were a lot of hard-to-believe contrivances.

Playing this time around I realise how much of an asshole Kenny is and how much of an useless drag Ben is. Kenny has never done anything positive for others; each time he had the opportunity to save or help someone, he ran away. Similarly, Ben is a total non-entity; he's...there, and every time he acts as a free agent, he only fucks things up.

I feel that's partly on this being a videogame. It cannot let NPCs solve problems on their own because then players lose agency.

The little scene in the train teaching Clementine how to shoot, cutting her hair and making plans is probably my favourite of the whole game. Is both cute and tragic.

Episode 2 finished. The lesser of the episodes, with its terribly predictable plot. Still very good, with some strong moments.

Now onto episode 3, which is arguably the best of all.

I decided to revisit his series and finally play it throughout (at the time I bounced from the second season). If you wonder whether this 8-year old game that revitalised the adventure genre holds up, don't wonder any more, it absolutely does.

First episode in and it still feels as fresh as the first time I played it. Tense, heart-wrenching and immersive. The cell-shaded comic style did wonders to preserve its graphics. Clementine is still lovely and the rest of the cast is strong too.
