The second season feels much more passive and less interactive that the original game. If I were to be charitable, I'd say that the lack of agency is intended to make the player feel in the shoes of a little girl. It's interesting to experience the daughter/father figure form the other side with Luke.

PS+ gave me Tell Tale Walking Dead Season 2 but I haven't played season 1 yet. Should I just dive in and try season 2 or should I start with season 1? I actually have season 1 somewhere but never bothered to play it.

Call me a stick in the mud, but I really dislike the whole "episode release" format of many games these days. I don't like it at all. Just finish your damn game and release it. If you want, do a sequel. None of this "here's episode one guyzzz" nonsense.. I would opened my wallet so hard there would have been sparks flying out of it and burn marks when I heard about Swery's D4: Dark Dreams Don't Die but when I heard it was "episode one" I groaned in an exaggerated fashion and puked all over my sofa and then dramatically snapped my wallet shut again with a disgruntled expression on my face.

I didn't feel any real connection with any of the other characters either, unlike the first one. Clementine, however, was awesome. Its not a bad game by any means, but it doesn't have the same impact as the first season.

Not quite as strong as the first season. To be honest, most of the time you're just telling people to stop arguing. But the story is good.

Another excellent story driven adventure game from Tell tale games. The decisions are as tough as they were in the first one. The concepts of right and wrong are very vague, which is how it should be. All in all, a job well done.

Just played through episode 3 of season 2. Best yet in this season. Ep 1 and 2 I wasn't really on board. Too many people, and shit didn't feel "right" to me. But they really tied it up here. Totally enjoyed episode 3.

Finally got around to sitting down and playing more of Walking Dead Season 2 yesterday. We finished episode 2 up (on the day that episode 3 came out). I really liked it. The setting was pretty awesome and the character interactions and choices were heavy but believable. If only the ending didn't suck so much. ;)
