Freddi Fish 4 moves the setting to a surreal underwater western town and it's amazing for that. My daughter went on for two weeks laughing about it and doing impressions of the characters woth lots of "Howdy ma'am" and "Hwody pardner". The game follows more or less the usual formula of the series, and from Freddi Fish 3 in particular, with once again a whodunit structure. It's even more ambitious on that side, because the ending requires more attention and intuition. If you are not focused on clues during the cutscenes, it's not that easy to guess the culprit. That being said, of course, this is not Laura Bow: if you accuse the wrong suspect, you don't see a cutscene with Freddi killed in her sleep, you just go on trying until you guess right. Overall, it's another lovely game. Side note: I think it's the first time we launched a Humongous game and heard an Italian voiceover, which is I guess a byproduct of Infogrames publishing it. Well done! We were surprised for a moment, but then went to the options and "Howdy pardner".
