Holy cow, this looks absolutely incredible on PC. I knew it was gorgeous on PS5 when it launched, from all the positive things I had read. But holy smokes, the HDR, OLED, performance, everything top notch. Fun game too. Can't go wrong with Ratchet and Clank!!

I completed R&C Rift Apart this evening. Marking my 8th completed Ratchet & Clank adventure.

I'm relieved of some sort of emotional duty to have gotten the platinum trophy. A rare occurrence these days that I admit was assisted by the remarkably handy ps5 hint system. A far cry from squinting at vague golden bolt locations in a Going Commando issue of PlayStation Magazine.

It was a colourful and character led spectacle but I'm unsure if I need to join them in another journey. The take away is largely diminishing returns aside from witnessing a robot enemy taking a selfie after beaning Ratchets head in. That was an unexpected, true laugh-out-loud highlight.

I've continued R&C: Rift Apart with a continued appreciation for the entirety of the series. Short bursts leaves time for wonderment, pairing with its stunning fidelity.

It's a concrete formula that I adore but at times, have become overly accustomed with each new entry. At worst, rail sliding and at best, golden bolt collection.

It's a concrete formula that I adore but at times, have become overly accustomed with each new entry. At worst, rail sliding and at best, golden bolt collection.

The background noise of Coronation Street playing on TV in another room and being seated on the floor, threw me back to a time where I felt safe and enjoyed R&C the most.

Somehow I'm an adult, knowing full well the series leans toward younger gamers but in moments like this, it feels made for me.

My memory of the first R&C bubbled with the same feeling of bustle and scale.

20 years later, the same sensation is there but with a world of graphical difference.

I'm set for another adventure with the duo but after playing through each entry, it may be more of the same with an astounding presence to pull me through.

There is no other title better fit to christen a PS5. Besides, Dr Nefarious alone is worth it.

I know I geeked out about this before, but then I forgot that the first dialogue exchange in this game is between Commander Shepard (Jennifer Hale) and Liara (Ali Hillis). Sure, both performers are playing different characters in this game, but I refuse to believe it’s not a subtle nod to Mass Effect.

I have already order it, so it will be my first PS5 game. I wanted the first game to be special, and I couldn't think a better choice.

Did anyone have the same problem where you end up stuck inside the pocket dimension with the invisible platforms 87-84-20, think it's on Blizar prime.

I could load a previous save but there is a more than an hour difference between the saves and anyway I've already beaten the game was just trying to get all the collectibles.

What a great game! I had a really good time playing this game and it was quite a pleasant time throughout. I strongly recommend it to any PS5 owner and fan of the series. Speaking of which, I highly recommend playing the previous games before playing this one as there's little nods to the past in this one that someone …

Speaking of which, I highly recommend playing the previous games before playing this one as there's little nods to the past in this one that someone (like myself) who's dabbled with games in the past will have a good smile on their face. Phenomenal title.

I recently saw some of the doomsayers over on the PlayStation blog concerned that given Spider-Man: Miles Morales has been ported to PC, Ratchet & Clank Rift Apart is next. Friends, if that’s true and it can run on Steam Deck at 40fps, Sony and Insomniac can take my money right now!
