the fact that from games 1-6, 1996 to 2006 there was little graphical improvement to the series really speaks on how well the graphics hold up

Given how people always say the latter entries are so much better than the original one, I was surprised at how good this game was. Definitely not on the same level as the rest but still really great.

Man...this game is fun. Excellent, cartoony graphics, big expressive sprites, knifing at close range, big explosions, cool weapons. I could list more but from playing for 20 minutes those were the big ones that stood out. If only he could shoot diagonally, but I'll survive without. Highly recommended.
