Bullet Point Review
PROS
- The games' tones are warm and inviting
- Grandia in particular has great characters that you really care about
- Both plots are classic JRPG fantasy done very well
- Music is mostly excellent
CONS
- Pretty sloppy remastering job overall
- Dungeons are almost entirely boring mazes
- Grandia's ability-leveling system is a tiresome grind
- Navigation is a confusing chore thanks to an overly tight camera and foreground obstructions
- Grandia II doesn't really do anything better than Grandia did
