Ok setting, but the worst combat system.

Omikron is an Action/RPG set in a dystopic sci-fi setting, with a 90's clubber/industrial rock vibe. With David Bowie as part of the game (as a character and on the soundtrack) and developed by Quantic Dream, it caught my attention. But all that interest was over after I tried the battle system: One of the worst combat systems ever, like a totally broken Virtua Fighter, but worse. The camera is your worst enemy and non-responsive controls complete the nightmare. Couldn't get past it, no matter how much I tried, simply horrible. It is a shame since I like Quantic Dream/Bowie, but I give up on this one.

Played on Dreamcast as a child. I fully intend to play this again, one day...but I've never really gotten past the first and second city areas in all the times I've tried. The controls were bad back then, and now...

...but David Bowie and nostalgia, man! The soundtrack to this game's been with me most of my life.

Dazzling and Loved every bit of the storyline, but the Gameplay has aged really badly

One day I will beat you, my friend. But today is not that day. I used to play this on PC with my brother a lot growing up, but never got very far. I couldn't remember why until today. It seems to be a little glitchy. For some reason elevators stopped working. It didn't matter which save file I loaded because every elevator refused to budge. I was only a few hours in, but I don't have the patience to restart now. It's such a bizarre and ambitious game. I will definitely come back to it at some point.
