In Tokyo Jungle, you must guide an animal through the post-apocalyptic ruin that was once Tokyo, snatching up sustenance and wooing viable mates to survive throughout the years. With dozens of animals to play as, each with unique stats and play styles that vary enough not to be boring, you'll find yourself pouring hours in, collecting costume parts and exploring all the nooks and crannies of this toxic wasteland. The combat system's so-so, the music eventually becomes grating, the graphics are mediocre, and the Story Mode that you have to play to unlock content is fairly inane, but there's just enough catchy, violent weirdness here to make me glad to know this game exists. POMERANIAN PRIDE, BABY!
