Difficulty spikes throughout, enemies that can oneshot you, and infinitely spawning enemies in some parts made this game really frustrating. But for a game made in 2001, it’s aged pretty well and it was pretty fun despite the aggravation. Environment interaction was really impressive too.

Even though I played it on easy difficulty I still died quite a bit! I died in the following ways: OP enemy guns (running out of HP), the occasional death from falling from a great height, getting squished by elevators, and getting fallen on from giant worms.Game is quite buggy even though it has been patched. Got stuck on an area, game would quit to the main menu after a certain cut-scene. This happened since I did some events in the wrong order. Had to download a save game off the internet. Looking forward to playing number 2.
