Lost among the piles of clothes and toys is his prized comic book. Donning his red cape, Pajama Sam dives into the chaos only to land in a strange and fantastic world that resembles his messy room. Pajama Sam sets off on a series of adventures in search of his lost comic book, looking for lost socks in Agitator Lake, rounding up dust bunnies at the Dust Bunny Corral, exploring the Spilled Soda Swamp and much more. In the end, Sam finds his comic book and realizes that life wouldn't be so rough if he put away his stuff! The fourth Pajama Sam talks about taking care of your things, which I would argue is a less important theme compared to the previous games but who am I to judge? The fourth Pajama Sam talks about taking care of your things, which I would argue is a less important theme compared to the previous games but who am I to judge? Anyway, as usual, the writing is quite subtle so it's really not annoying at all, and the game is lovely as usual, with smart puzzles, crazy ideas and fun characters. The puzzle randomization from previous episodes is gone and, considering there's also a bit less "collateral" activity in termis of interactions and fun animations, I wonder if it's a case of reduced budget. Anyway, the absence of randomization isn't necessarily an issue in terms of replayability, because little kids like to replay the exact same thing. Also, the ending is longer and more interactive than usual, which is a plus. My daughter was happy, I'm happy.
