This is a white little cat who loves to jump and to get into adventures around the town until he finds milk to drink. Once he accomplishes his mission, then it is time to go home. A fluffy white cat.

Sigh... At least it was a notch better than the first one

I played the first game (.Cat) a couple of months ago. Apparently this is kind of a sequel, but it has nothing to do with it, except that it uses portals. In this game, there is really no plot, except for the need to get milk. The gameplay is based on beating different levels (50 if I am not mistaken), mostly in platforming and with some puzzle solving... a little bit. You have to go from one side of the screen to the other, get the milk, and come back home with it.

The controls are very basic: you move with the directional pad, and jump with a single button (forgot which one it was). The thing that was most frustrating is that the margin of error is so small, that sometimes you'd think it is impossible to beat some levels. Sometimes I think I just got lucky, and I probably did.

This game was better than .Cat, but it's still a bad game. Clunky, boring, frustrating. Sorry... moving on to .Dog!

+Actual thought and consideration to level design. Introduced interactive level elements for puzzles.

+Fast loading

-Back to small sprites

-No control over jump height

-Some sections require a ton of precision, so it's a bit annoying

-No visual distinction between 50 levels

The best game in the Cat + Dog bundle. Not even 100% they were all made by the same dev, but it certainly felt like a dev learning as they went along.

Edit: Forgot to mention that the game doesn't autosave after completing a level, so I lost my progress and had to redue like 8 levels.
