Sigh... At least it was a notch better than the first one
I played the first game (.Cat) a couple of months ago. Apparently this is kind of a sequel, but it has nothing to do with it, except that it uses portals. I played the first game (.Cat) a couple of months ago. Apparently this is kind of a sequel, but it has nothing to do with it, except that it uses portals. In this game, there is really no plot, except for the need to get milk. The gameplay is based on beating different levels (50 if I am not mistaken), mostly in platforming and with some puzzle solving... a little bit. You have to go from one side of the screen to the other, get the milk, and come back home with it.
The controls are very basic: you move with the directional pad, and jump with a single button (forgot which one it was). The thing that was most frustrating is that the margin of error is so small, that sometimes you'd think it is impossible to beat some levels. Sometimes I think I just got lucky, and I probably did.
This game was better than .Cat, but it's still a bad game. Clunky, boring, frustrating. Sorry... moving on to .Dog!
