This is the dog game in which you must jump onto all your foes in order to move to the next level. The game is super fun and rated for all ages.

Some improvement

Third game on the .cat/dog games.

The game is very simple, maybe way too simple. You jump over some animals and you have to defeat all of them in order to progress. There are 50 short levels of this.

I am glad to see some improvements on this entry. The controls are smoother and more responsive, and the game is playable in general. I think the simplicity helped with this. On the other hand, the enemies are easy to beat and the levels are very short. For the amount of gameplay, this game should be free.

Despite the improvements, this game is still boring and lackluster. I would give it a 1.5 rating, but I can't really show that in the stars.

After playing .cat, I was worried about how much I'd like this game. Thankfully it's better. It's definitely inspired by mobile games with how it's segmented into individual levels. Let's start with the pros:

+You play as a dog

+Sprites are bigger and more detailed

+Gameplay is more focused than .cat

+Controls feel more precise

+More visual variety with enemies

Now with the cons:

-Enemies still have the same pattern: moving forward then turning around at walls and edges

-50 short levels

-Not worth the original $10 (I think that's its standard price)

-Only 3 different environments which only affect the aesthetics

-Dpad only, no control stick support

This may not be a bad game, but it also isn't a good game either. A lot of my enjoyment probably comes from comparing it to .cat. If I weren't comparing the two, this game would probably not be as enjoyable as a standalone game.
