As a kid I only had the shareware. I played the hell out of it, and never heard of Wolfenstein or Doom until I was older. This was my only intro to FPS games, and I loved it.
It's so weird that I expect so much from games, but as a kid with limited options replaying 1 zone on a shareware disk over and over was good enough for me.
