There are three modes available to take part in: - Time Attack - Set a goal somewhere in the stage. After three tries, the player with the shortest time to the goal wins. - Enemy Battle - Defeat the most enemies from the generator within the time limit. - Get Item. - Collect the most items from the map within the time limit. I gave in and used a guide for this one, FINALLY figured out how the fipping Cyber Elves worked. The plot was even better and I loved the bosses even more but it retained that stupid life system, BUT it gave me many more lives so it was less of a problem. I gave in and used a guide for this one, FINALLY figured out how the fipping Cyber Elves worked. The plot was even better and I loved the bosses even more but it retained that stupid life system, BUT it gave me many more lives so it was less of a problem. Overall I'd say it's a big improvement even if I had some gripes. Though it made me stinking grind my stupid weapons for literally an hour and a half at the beginning of the game, that is ridiculous.
