The best Spider-Man game, in my opinion. Fun gameplay, a cool premise, and a great open world experience that you'd expect from Spider-Man games. The dialogue can be a little weird in the PC version at times, but it doesn't take away from the experience that much.

This review is for the Wii version

This game is weird as hell.

Tone is all over the place, story is paced way too fast, QTE's are persistent and annoying, characters and voice acting are nonstop off the wall, so much of the stuff you do is repeated combat encounters and generic side quest material...

And yet...

This might be one of the most mechanically intricate combat systems in a Spidey game. Dunno if I can say 'best,' but it's definitely the deepest. It's probably the closest a Spidey game will come to a spectacle fighter like DMC or Bayonetta.

I can't say there's an amazing game built around this combat system. Open world fights and collectibles are nothing new here, and the narrative isn't exactly rich in character or themes. But I can say it's pretty entertaining at times, just from how weird and nonsensical the story can be at times.

And hey, maybe that's enough. Especially when you have a kick-ass combat system.

Web of Shadows was a really fun play. I finished the whole thing in less than 24 hours in two really long sittings, because I got really invested. It didn't have an original story or anything else, but it still was very fun to play. The graphics were pretty good for a game that came out on 2008 and the game mechanics were really well made, even if the camera movement was kinda weird at points.

Now the characters were just fine and most of them had a cool arc. I have to say that at points the game got kinda cliche and certain lines were really cheesy. Most of the plot moved like you thought it would, without any twist or anything unexpected. The final fight was kinda over the top for my taste and I was hoping that it wouldn't end up on something like that.

Most of the Boss Battles weren't too hard, but neither too easy. In fact the whole game was just as hard as it should be and that made it fun to play, without making it too easy. All in all I quite enjoyed the game. It is well made, it is pretty …

This game will let you be the kind of Spider-man you wanna become!

This game might start a little bit dull and make you feel like you are playing a dull game set in an empty city especially due to the graphics which are not very good to be honest but give it time and once you master the web strike combo then you will know the true spidey feeling of kicking butt. Combat in this game is the best and you will get plenty of opportunity to use it. The city becomes lively once the story passes a certain point and you will find different types of enemies to fight everywhere. The story is also amazing and will keep you invested. Each and every boss fight will have so much epic moments to remember. The choice system was good fun but nothing groundbreaking. I am a huge Spiderman fan and this is the kind of game I wanted to play. I just freakin loved it.
