Compare to Pokémon, the story of Mega Man Battle Network is way more interesting, though it’s too linear. Perhaps that’s because I didn’t know what to expect while Pokémon story is more or less the same in every entry. The NPC conversations are quite funny. The BGMs hurt my ears, literally. Got stuck in chapter 2 after completing the 2nd preliminary of N1 battle. Totally forgot where I jacked in at the beginning. I spent like half an hour searching for the entrance. Got stuck in chapter 2 after completing the 2nd preliminary of N1 battle. Totally forgot where I jacked in at the beginning. I spent like half an hour searching for the entrance. It’s so easy to get lost in the cyberspace! At the end I had to search for walkthrough even though I really didn’t want to. I want to play the game as if it was in 2003 with limited access to the internet. Almost all walkthroughs point to Dex’s HP as Edit but I couldn’t get out from there. Too bad! Maybe the ROM have a bug T_T. Luckily I found another walkthrough which suggests to enter and exit from Yai’s HP. So I searched all HPs and finally got out from Lan’s HP!!! Where else would it be right?! Anyway, now I can proceed to the next chapter.
