All in All a Satisfying Ending For What Began in BG1
This review is for the PC (Microsoft Windows) version

It's only natural to feel a bit of a letdown because this had to follow one of the greatest CRPG's ever

For an expansion pack there is certainly a lot to do. Many new features are added. It was great to be able to import my character from Shadows of Amn.

You've got new monsters, weapons, locations and there is definitely and epic feel to this conclusion

A great sendoff!

Guran's review of Baldur's Gate II: Throne of Bhaal

A very good but still slightly disappointing end to the Baldur's gate series. I had to play it to find the conclusion of the game series but I found it rushed and slightly silly. Suprisingly the Watchers Keep dungeon is the highlight of this expansion pack.

Have it, haven't played it. Very sad.....Will not play Baldur's Gate III as punishment until these are played and the Divinity Original Sins games...

I didn't expect Shadows of Amn to launch DIRECTLY into Throne of Bhaal. I planned on taking a break between them. I'm honestly not feeling it. I'm a couple hours in and the difficulty jump just isn't working for me. I don't feel like choking through the clunky fights, especially now that it's even harder to hit enemies, and they're all unaffected by any spells but the highest level ones. I don't have a mega optimized party, because that's not how I played. I didn't want to google what the best group was. Might finish this on easy difficulty. Who knows.

a worthy Final Fight for my favourite RPG, in an cool survival-of-the-fittest setting
