Klonoa is fun. I like the extra added content, the improved wind bullet, and having more health. Really wish there was an in-stage gem counter to help with keeping track of how many of the 150 gems you collected already. Some of the gems are too well hidden for my liking. Klonoa is fun. I like the extra added content, the improved wind bullet, and having more health. Really wish there was an in-stage gem counter to help with keeping track of how many of the 150 gems you collected already. Some of the gems are too well hidden for my liking. The reverse mode + bonus rooms are underwhelming rewards, but fun extras that don't exist in other version of the game. I like Klonoa, wish there were more games to play.

A solid remake but…

This is a solid remake, but as someone who’s already played through and loves the original this game gives me little incentive to finish it, it’s just the original with fancier (but not necessarily better) graphics for the most part

Sorry Original, This One Did It For Me

Pros:
-- Regardless of being a remake, it's a fun, solid platformer
-- The story is even more engaging and fun than the original, being fleshed out in this remake
-- Music has been much improved and didn't make me turn on a podcast instead

-- If you loved the first, you may find this remake unnecessary/uninteresting
