This game was not for me. It could be I just got into the wrong match or was playing with the wrong people but it was boring. It felt very unbalanced and unfair in some cases. The map I played was so small you couldn't really hide and the hunter just camped and picked everyone off from a platform. I was playing with a buddy so we were talking and both of us agreed it was kind of boring. I was expecting that OMG the killer is right behind me kind of feel and I didn't get that. In the end the whole team was killed fairly easily. I guess though this is also what you get when you get a noob like me joining a well established game with a fan base that is completely used to every map and control and can dominate over less qualified players. I am interested in Texas Chainsaw Massacre so will see if it is better.

I did not enjoy my time with this or Friday the 13th. In both it seems the play has long evolved to not allow beginners. In Friday the 13th I was trolled relentlessly by players who knew every secret, and in Dead By Daylight I was so bad as a survivor no matter what I did the killer would always just come straight for me every time.

Neither game was fun, nor did I ever feel like I had any kind of a chance at all.

I just had one of the most intense gaming experiences of my life. I'm starting to think this game might be too spooky for me, I swear I'm getting heart palpitations. That last match, it was so close, it was right down to the wire. I played this match really risky: taunting the killer, distracting him so that my team mates could escape. It's exhilarating but also kind of exhausting. I think I need to go have a cup of tea and watch some kittens on Youtube. :(
