An Early Frictional Games Title that used the HPL engine
This review is for the PC (Microsoft Windows) version

Somewhat moody (but not really that scary) first person adventure-exporation with light puzzle elements. I found most of these puzzles enjoyable and a lot of the game was very straight forward and required little hand holding (only 1-2 puzzles had me going for a guide)

Like Amnesia, you interact with objects in a similar way: swinging open doorknobs and drawers, but also swinging melee weapons! What is unfortunate is you cannot rotate or examine objects the same way you later could.

All in all its an old game that has a ceiling on enjoyment but i did stream this for some folks and we all had a good time. It's not that long and it was fun to see early ideas for the HPL engine and how things went from there to Amnesia tDD (and beyond)

A game with an interesting story and puzzles that help the brain to think a little. I found interesting the feature in which the player can interact with the environment around him. The game however could have had more vocal interaction in the documents and protagonist's thoughts, in my opinion. The downside of this game is undoubtedly the controls in combat to kill the enemy found them a bit frustrating.
