This is the game I've played the most on my Playdate, which is funny considering it's not part of the official season. It mixes a very, very, very minimal gardening simulator with a chat-based narrative story that plays out in something kinda like real time over the course of a week or so (I imagine it varies depending on how often you check in).
The story and characters are sweet and kept me engaged. The gardening aspect is pleasant and offers a nice quick dopamine rush when you check in to harvest your flowers.
I do wish the gardening had been a little deeper and/or had more of a connection to the narrative moments, especially toward the end of the game (which felt pretty sudden to me after such a slow build-up). I also preferred the smaller, sprite-based artwork to the more hand-drawn avatars and cut scene moments, they feel more tailored to this device. But overall this was a nice way to spend a lot of small moments over the past week.
