I really liked this game a lot. I hated the checkpoint systems but the story and gameplay were excellent. I might actually go back and get the first one. For $9.99 it was one of the best values I have ever had. Simply wonderful.

Gearbox returned with 'Earned in Blood' and gave us more of the same its second time around. The voice acting is stiff and not as sharp, and level design seems kind of uninspired and barren compared to other games out at the time. The story and cut scenes are the best part, but music is dull and not memorable, and unfortunately the whole game kinda got lost in the abundance of WW2 shooters of its day. Not bad, just not good enough to stand out.
