im on chapter 3 now! this game is such a blast. also sometimes it looks like a used pad. i mean that as a compliment.

analysis thus far - major spoilers! also, im still in the apartment and im done for tonight, so my theories are vague as of now.

okay so basically in the apartment complex theres notes scattered around by a child killer (also likely pedophile, judging by the way he talks about these children), and there's the children-turned-zombies. i think they represent csa and possibly simons own csa. theres also the feminine monsters that run and scream at you, which i think represent his mother - theres no clues to point towards that but thats the general vibe i get from them.

also the game as a whole feels very queer to me. i think simon can be read as either a girlmoder or a boymoder but either way hes definitely trans. genuinely this is just the queer c-ptsd + schizophrenia experience i cant lie.

done playing for now bceause this is the most terrifying game ive ever played. like. holy shit. my heart's pounding and shit. dawg im SCARED. having a lot of fun though.

Unfortunately, ten minutes in the camera had made me so sick I had to lie down. Shame--the intro to this was intriguing and I wanted to see how it turned out.
