Another mediocre comedic point and click

I guess I’m just blazing through these for whatever reason. I’ve been in a big point and click mood, but there’s just not too many of the more somber horror and mystery ones, so I play these light hearted ones inspired by the “classics” merely for the puzzle mechanics. And it does a fine job here, though it’s immediately forgettable for me and blurs in with all the others.

This one deals with time travel, which I believe I’ve seen a few times before. The art is ok, the writing is forgettable with of course tons of meta nods. It’s got all the cliches of modern comedic point and click games.

Puzzles for the most part were fun enough, and I did finish the game. But unless you absolutely love the style, it’s nothing special. I way more recommend Lucy Dreaming and Thimbleweed Park, or even better the darker games like Nightmare Frames and Excavation of Hobs Burrow… but to each their own.
