This review is for the PC (Microsoft Windows) version
Disney should be ashamed of selling this game in the state that it is, it's not playable in any modern Windows. But, thanks to its amazing community, the unofficial patches make the game playable. And it's AoE 2 with space ships, so I can't ask for anything else.

Using the latest All-In-One fan-created update patch which improves the resolution and fixes bugs. IIRC, the last time I played this I ran into some issues. Will see how it goes. Wish Microsoft would update this to an enhanced version, like they did with some of their other RTS games.
