After Japanese video game developer Sunsoft ported Spy Hunter to the Nintendo Entertainment System, the company created Battle Formula with similar gameplay. Sunsoft America signed a deal with Bally Midway to release it outside Japan as Super Spy Hunter. The Super Spy Hunter has a super spy car. It's actually a well-armed car that can turn into a boat or a plane at opportune times.
