Haven't played a game in probably 2 years. Not a great one to start with, but I am happy I finally set up my game room enough that entering it no longer fills me with anxiety.

First playthrough I only found one clue. I saved Marcus, but didn't have enough evidence to accuse anyone in my repugnant family. I'm not a fan of fmv games that don't atleast try and present your failure as a compelling ending. It just cuts to credits and assures you that you can skip over familiar cutscenes in subsquent playthroughs.

I played it a couple more times to get the proper ending, but was mildly frustrated with how limited the cutscene skipping was. I still felt like I was seeing a lot of the same stuff. Let me atleast fast-forward. I'll take full responsibilty for anything I miss.

The premise is fun, and the performances are all solid. Interaction feels very limited - the occasional dialogue option, and that's it. It is presented in a screen-life format, so it feels lazy not allowing you to interact with the desktop at all. I never felt like I was given enough agency to solve the mystery, and was instead just stumbling through the story until characters would randomly give me the necessary information.

The name is cute though.

I'm totally interested on principle alone. But if FMV doesn't fall into "actually good" or "so bad its good" it's a bummer.
