Rocket League is a really fun game. It is just soccer with cars but executed just right. Score goals, level up, get rewards and repeat. Every match is intense and keeps the adrenaline flowing. Rocket League is a really fun game. It is just soccer with cars but executed just right. Score goals, level up, get rewards and repeat. Every match is intense and keeps the adrenaline flowing. It is also easy to pick up for any player to learn, making it even more fun for everyone. The feeling you get when almost punching that big ass ball into the opponent’s goal is most satisfying.
Rocket League offers a ton of content for its price and gets updated regularly. You get countless customization's for your cars, paint jobs, skins etc. it is endless. The game offers tournaments, ranking matches, and even split screen play. It has a massive player base and (now) stable servers.
The events that are organized are great fun and offer special items for limited time.
Graphics are colorful and bright and are nothing to complain about. The music and sound effects are fair. The arena design is great and creates some atmosphere throughout the matches.
The controls and camera are fluent and work perfectly, you feel you are in control of your little car and the direction you want to go. Mastering flying with your boost is a must but takes time and skill to master.
Overall, Rocket League is fun for the casual and pro gamer and a good and fun way to pass the time alone or with friends.
Definitely recommend this game!

Does anyone know if there’s a way to revert the game to previous versions on a Switch? The updates have turned this into one of the most data expensive games in my library. I really don’t need the extra bells and whistles. The game was fine for me when it was just simple cars. I rarely play online anyway.

Read moreI often wonder how to make a review for a game like Rocket League.Its difficult for me, because I can't find much to analyze.Im gonna give my best shot at reviewing this.Rocket League is a game thats not so much a disappointment but just not what you were expecting.For example, when I heard Rocket League had a campaign I got jittery, because I honestly was brain dead on what the campaign could have possibly contained.Later to find out that you are playing against bots, basically.But then again, I cant hit Psyonix to hard for this because I can't think of anything better they could have made the campaign.It is very obvious the game is more focused on Multiplayer and Teamwork.The only thing I could really do that I enjoyed some, was playing competetive with friends and communicating and then in turn seeing how high in the ranks you could go.We can't just take gameplay into consideration though.There is also the Soundtracks and the custimization.First, the soundtracks were crazy good, I often found myself leaving it on the main screen just to listen to the sound tracks.Then to the custimizations, the custimizations were good from the start of Rocket League, and now we have custom trails and goal explosions and more to come.This is only showing Psyonix's ability to never run out of ideas to add to the game.In conclussion, Rocket League is a game to try but it wouldn't be the one of the games I would think about playing once every week.It's more of just a "I am bored as fuck and I want to play a game I haven't played in a while" and then Rocket League is open.Thats the type of game I see Rocket League as.BUT, Do I believe it is worth the $30 price for console and the $20 price for PC.Hell yeah I do.

Sure the online play is great and you can have some games that keep you on the edge of your seat, but there are also a ton of games that you question what your teammates are doing. The solo play is fun. I did a full season on rookie, but it ended up being just to easy. Started on the next level up and struggled like no other. They are also fixing the online portion of the game. Too many people were just leaving ranked games with no sort of punishment. I think its a 15 minute cool down if you leave early meow. Overall, I will continue to pick up this game on many occasions to enjoy the quick game or two. If I have a small amount of time to burn it will be on the top of my list to play before going somewhere or doing something.
