I was unfamiliar with this franchise and got this in a random package deal. It looked fun. And it mostly is. VERY short, very repetitive game loop, not a lot to it. Recruit workers, make and sell weapons, unlock new weapons, improve the shop, move, rinse and repeat. There’s only four locations and I finished the game before I even finished the last area. I don’t know if there’s more I’m missing but by the time I got to the end, I certainly didn’t get all the heroes and smiths. I wish there was more to it, but it’s enough to pass a weekend. Worth about its cost in puns. :)

Played for 7 hours. It was quite fun at first, and the game is filled with funny geeky references. The gameplay got way too repetitive and grindy pretty early on and playing became a chore, so I quit.
