just got into twoson after about roughly three hours of play! just trying to catch every conversation with NPCs and continuously getting lost in the music. really enjoying earthbound a whole lot thus far, and i am glad to finally see what ness derived from (me being a huge smash fan). something i've quickly dismissed though, is the comparisons undertale gets to this game all the time. maybe in terms of quirkiness and in my personal opinion just staying genuine, but the battle system and the leveling system remind me a lot more of a traditional JRPG (maybe i just haven't gotten far enough into it also.)

but all in all; the humor has me chuckling, the music has me immersed, and the story has me locked. i think i'm going to rediculously enjoy earthbound in the long run.

i sincerely apologize to everyone as i didn't realize every little personal note i've put on some of the games in my log was actually an "update status" post. not sure if a mod could just take those off the home page so it's not clogging up the feed!

(edit: thank you peter for clearing this up with me.) …

besides all that. pretty successful/busy day. finally got around to starting earthbound for my first time too! here's to hoping it does the same stuff undertale did for me!

still have a few things to add to my log but now that i'm looking at other people's.. i'm not sure i had the right to be so lazy!

be solid & happy gaming!

I forget how fetchy the game can be sometimes, and there are only a few instances where I'm definitely whoever would be playing would have a hard time knowing what the next thing to do would be. Having played the game a lot I didn't have too much of a problem but I gotta admit, I ended up using the Hint man once or twice.

Great system. I think every game should include something like this. Especially longer RPGs, as sometimes it's been awhile since you've booted up a game and you're unsure what the last thing you were doing to proceed was. Maybe it's just my now casual gamer side speaking, but I think this makes a game much easier and more fun. There hasn't really been very many instances in where I felt pride or any enjoyment out of figuring out any kind of obscure detail or puzzle to continue playing a game after being stuck. I think I can count those instances on a single hand alone.

I took so many screenshots but now I can't find em! :V

Just finished the coffee break. I took the game at its word and had a coffee and reflected.
