Beat on normal. I found the game to be a reasonable challenge yet forgiving enough to not be annoying. The only things that I really did not like were using the whip to swing (because it was not forgiving) and how rats could not be killed with the whip or at range with the gun. I mostly used the whip and found the gun to be too weak; would have preferred a more powerful gun with limited ammo. Also would have been nice to get enemy guns. I liked the concept of grenades and used then for tricky enemies located near instant death pits.
A great and well made game though the bare bones story makes me want to watch the movies again.
