I don't tend to play these types of games and while I can't say I love them now after this experience, it wasn't all that bad! The gameplay was pretty fluid for the most part and it was graphically alright. I do wish there was more character customization, but what was available had some variety. The voice acting was also good! Enemy variety kept me as interested as one could be with repetitive dungeons one after the other, but it had a kind of addictive factor. Overall, I didn't find the game to be that amazing or impressive for such a popular series, but I can also understand the love for the franchise. Enticed enough to get Diablo IV when it comes out, so they got me there.

I understand why this is not for everybody, but it is certainly for me - I always come back to Diablo III.
This game is fine, but absolutely nothing about it is special in any capacity. Everything about it is safe with well-sanded edges; nothing offensive, but nothing intriguing, either. Diablo 3 was for me the game equivalent of reading a crappy Star Wars novel on an airplane. It was just something for me to occupy myself with until it was done, and then I can just leave it in the seat-back pocket, never to think about it again.
Id definitely say it was an overhaul fun game with very satisfying gameplay and fun class customization to the way you like to play the game. I played a Necromancer and it was a really enjoyable experience, I cant say the story was anything special, and the gameplay did feel repetitive at times, but it is very worthy of its 4/5 star rating
I mean it's actually a good game.
What's up with all the hate before?
My son and i just Completed our first playthrough. could someone please tell me their recommended playthrough order? Like should we continue with our characters in NG+ or Seasonal? we beat it on normal and we would like to 100% the game eventually including the challenges. Thanks!
This is one of the games I have put the most time into and I currently still prefer it’s post campaign play to Diablo 4’s
Still slowly plugging away at this. Got around an hour's worth of gameplay in while the power was out but then got distracted by some books.
Been playing this off and on since Christmas. It runs well on the Switch and the small bite-sized moments of gameplay really lend well to the system. I think I'm nearing the end (around lvl 35) which is good. I could see myself coming back to it to try out the other classes even after I've finished the game.
SEASON 14 > CHAPTER IV [DONE]
Pestilence Shroud Set Completed :D
SEASON 14 > CHAPTER III [DONE]
I played through this back when it first came out for PS4, but I had an itch to go through it again with a different character. My first time through was with a barbarian and now I'm going through with a monk. The loop of plowing through hundreds of monsters and then leveling up and equipping better and better loot will never get old.
Loved the continuation the story and the additions they added to the game, like Paragon points. Still playing through with friends. Blizzard always sucks me in with the story line, even if the game is crappy.
