Well, Unbound was a step up from Legacy in basically all ways, I think. The atmosphere was particularly great, with the jazz-filled soundtrack and gritty backgrounds giving an even stronger noir vibe. Given how short the games are, I think it also really benefited from having the lore in place from the first game. Characters and voice acting were great …

Given how short the games are, I think it also really benefited from having the lore in place from the first game. Characters and voice acting were great again, too.
I still don't like how arcane point and click games can be. I wish more games in the genre would slowly feed you more hints if you're not finding something. I'm not going to spend more than 20-30 minutes feeling stuck, but I also hate turning to walkthroughs to progress the story.
Anyway, great experience despite point and click not really being my thing. On to The Blackwell Convergence.
