Wait! What's going on! I don't remember how to do this!
Is this a sequel? I hope it is a sequel. Heaven's Vault is in my top 10 favorite games ever.

I'm back to this game, this time playing with my girlfriend. After playing Chants of Sennar together I figured another language puzzle game would be cool. It's pretty fun to discuss each translation, and talk about our theories for the plot. The sailing parts are still a bit too slow and boring, though.

Wow this game is like Chants of Sennaarr but 50 million times better. Makes Chants seem really trite in comparison.
I love the dialog system in this. There’s a real feeling of characterization choice and I can feel in both the writing and the actual game mechanics that decisions matter. I love how the language solving works, and how it is intertwined with archaeology. I love the scope and scale of the story, I love the universe they created. The world and the story remind me of something like Beyond Good and Evil, where they made this charming world with a charming conceit. I love the animation style, with whispy, dreamy ghosts left by your movement; all in service to themes of history and time.
Love, love, love this game and am looking forward to the rest of the journey.

Last night I spent like two hours playing the keyboard.

I shouldn't have waited so long to play this game. Is super great. The art is fantastic and the whole translating mechanic is smart and engaging. I do miss some more options to connect words and glyphs, though. Like "show me all words with this particular symbol".

Well, there you go. My windows install booted right into a BSOD and after restoring and much faffing around, the GPU drivers are still giving me trouble.
So I guess I'll be reporting on Proton. Heaven't Vault seems to run well. Some audio choppiness here or there.

Found Heaven's Vault, that ends the game but I think I have missed lot of content, so this warrants another playthrough.
